This simple Aussie Beef Donburi utilises Australian Sirloin - sautéed and coated in a rich flavourful sauce and paired with runny yolk. It is comfort food at its finest and using quality Australian beef makes a world of difference.
Marinade
Seasoning
Thinly slice the sirloin steaks and combine with marinade. Leave it to absorb flavours for a minimum of 30 minutes.
Pre-mix the seasoning and set aside. Heat up the wok with some oil.
Pan fry the onion and carrots first for a minute.
Add in marinated beef slices and leave it untouched to cook for 1-2 minute to achieve browning on the meat.
Stir in garlic and seasonings. Sautée for a minute more before adding in the sliced spring onion and chilli. Cook for another minute.
Dish up over steam rice and a sunny egg. Enjoy!
