Enjoy the deep rich taste in every bite of Beef Chilli in this combination of premium minced Australian Beef and spice

Ingredients

  • 500g Australian Beef, minced

  • 1000g Tomato passata

  • 135g Tomato paste

  • Salt & Pepper

  • 3 Medium Onions

  • Cumin powder tbsp

  • Whole Cumin

  • BBQ sauce

  • Balsamic vinegar

  • Dark brown sugar

  • Cinnamon powder

Method

Preparing The Chilli Sauce

  1. Heat up some olive oil in a medium pot

  2. Add whole cumin

  3. Add whole cinnamon

  4. Add whole peppercorn

  5. Brown onions and garlic

  6. Add minced beef 

  7. Stir fry until browned evenly

  8. Add fresh green peppers

  9. Deglaze the pan using balsamic vinegar or worcester sauce

  10. Add cinnamon, bbq sauce, cumin, strained tomato sauce, brown sugar

  11. Simmer for 1 hour

  12. Add beans to the mix

  13. Continue simmer for 15-20 mins

  14. Add a dollop of sour cream on top

  15. Garnish with shredded cheese and coriander

Preparing The Focaccia

  1. Brush olive oil over the bread

  2. Lightly toast on a grill

  3. Serve all together and enjoy!
