Ingredients

  • 250g Australian lamb, minced

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • Fresh mint

  • Yogurt

  • Mayonnaise

  • Sour cream

  • Breadcrumbs

  • Milk

  • Garlic

  • 1 Egg

  • Burger buns

  • Mixed greens

  • Caramelised onions

Method

Preparing the Burger Patty

  1. Take a large mixing bowl and add breadcrumbs soaked in milk

  2. Add in salt and pepper

  3. Add 1 egg

  4. Add the minced lamb

  5. Mix all together thoroughly

  6. Add the mixture to a burger press, or create patties using your hands

Cooking the Burger Patties

  1. Heat oil in a large frying pan

  2. Add burgers and fry for 5 minutes on each side until cooked to desired doneness

Making the Aioli

  1. Take a mixing bowl and add yogurt

  2. Add mayonnaise to desired dressing amount

  3. Add sour cream

  4. Add chopped mint

  5. Add in some chopped garlic

  6. Mix together thoroughly

The Final Dish

  1. Slice the burger buns

  2. Add caramelised onions

  3. Add cooked burgers patties

  4. Add aioli

  5. Add mixed greens to enjoy
